idea. Make it a product. Get it into the pipeline. Share
it with the world. Sounds simple, but, of course, the
devil's in the details. At Nike's In-House Manufacturing
and Distribution Divisions, we manage every detail,
making sure great ideas become great products for
athletes everywhere. What does this mean for you? In the
best situations it means you'll push your colleagues to
do their best work, and they'll turn around and do the
same for you. And the details? Take a look and see for
yourself.
As our
Senior Cost Accountant, you’ll be responsible for
maintaining and continually improving the standard cost

overhead rates by platform, department and/or work
center and budgets and forecasts, perform cost rolls for
standard updates and provide analysis of changes. You’ll
also coordinate a formal Cycle Count Program. You’ll
investigate significant physical variances to determine
root causes and recommend specific courses of action to
resolve problem areas. You’ll perform periodic
obsolescence and other valuation reviews and support
production LEAN initiatives and assist in quantifying
improvements made in operations through kaizen events.
You’ll apply consistent standards, policies, procedures,
processes and metrics between facilities. You’ll also
ensure conformity to Nike corporate policies as
applicable. In addition, you’ll participate in
formulating and implementing new methods, policies and
