YOU IN SEPTEMBER!
Dear
Fellow Members,
The
Heartland
Regional Council Conference will be held in Springfield,
Missouri on September 18th and 19th. This is an opportunity to get 16
CPE for $325. Last year’s event was a big success. For more information go to the college website at www.mdi.missouristate.edu
and click on IMA Conference.
There is a brochure you can print to show your employer.
If you plan to attend and would like to get in on a
carpool, send me an email.
I
want to thank the board for all their hard work over the
summer. They did a great job. Our budget is approved. Our
speakers are confirmed for the year - we have good variety
of timely topics. We have plans to promote student
relations, the CMA certification, and corporate development.
We sent out a mailing. We are off to a great start.
We
could always use a few more members to help with various
projects. The time commitment can be as little as one hour a
month. Our board is a becoming a close-knit group and serving on the
board gives you a chance to meet other accounting
professionals and also to make friends.
